【太道とは】
不動禅少林寺拳法を源流とし、昭和63年に京都で設立された『立ち技打撃』に特化した武道です。
突き（パンチ）、蹴り（キック）などの動きを用い、一対一で実際に攻撃を当て闘い、心・技・体を競う非常にゲーム性の高いキックボクシングのような武道です。
太道は京都発祥の日本の武道です。突き、蹴りを中心に青少年教育、一般男女の自己啓発を目指します。試合は少年少女→防具を面、胴、手足につけてのポイント形式。高校生以上→ヘッドガード、レッグガード、グローブをつけての形式です。
What is TAIDO?
TAIDO is a martial art specializing in “standing strikes” that was established in Kyoto in 1988, originating from Fudo-Zen Shorinji Kempo.
It is a martial art similar to kickboxing with a high level of gameplay, where one fighter competes with another fighter one-on-one in a mind, technique, and body competition, using movements such as punching and kicking.
TAIDO is a Japanese martial art that originated in Kyoto. It aims at youth education and self-development for both men and women in general, focusing on thrusting and kicking. Matches are for boys and girls → point style with protective gear on the face, body, hands and feet. High school students and above: head guard, leg guard, and gloves are worn.
